Korea Peer Group Forum
History
Welcome to the Korea Peer Group. Our first meeting was held in the mid-1990s and the group has been running in various formats for thirty two years. In the early 2000s the name was changed to KBF Korea Business Forum. In 2020 at the onset to covid-19 we moved online. When we moved back to hybrid, half our members stayed online. In mid-2024 responsibility for the group split with Korea Risk taking over the offline meetings as KBF, under their own management while the online Korea Peer Group was initiated as a standalone entity in 2025 under the original management of KABC Ltd and EABC Ltd. In 2026, paid up continuing members of KBF are currently eligible to attend Korea Peer Group online meetings without charge.
Identifying your needs
Each session is structured round issues of importance to companies and organizations doing business or interested in Korea, with up to 20 attendees participating as interactively as they wish, backed by a comprehensive slide set on the topic in question. As long time providers of information, briefings and debates we recognise that each participant has unique requirements, so we aim to tailor our offerings accordingly.
For instance, beyond the basic online seminar and pdf, some members prefer to receive additional information via follow-up emails, while others appreciate summary briefings if they are unable to attend a full session. Some enjoy break-out discussions, and there are those who simply review the extensive presentation materials without attending. Embassies sometimes incorporate our material into their briefings for head office. In the summer season several request a recording as they could not make it to the session due to vacations.
KABC believes that these options should be given to all paid up members. At the bottom of the form are a set of questions which can help determine how you get the best value out of the membership.
Basic Service
Two alternative sessions of live discussions on a relevant topic every month, with PDF of all slides sent after the second session.

Paid up members are also invited to the monthly CEO’s luncheon meeting
Occasional Gatherings
Other Seoul based occasional gatherings are held either through arrangements with embassies or other sponsors and maybe lunch or evening. Ad hoc coffee meetings are also held.
Membership
Basic membership for 12 months per organization is 1,500,000 won plus VAT paid to KABC Ltd. Payment offshore is paid to EABC Ltd in the UK
Discounts are offered to students, chambers of commerce and non-corporate members.
